The story of transformation, empowerment, and sustainable development across Egypt and the MENA region
Established in 2008, the Association for Women's Total Advancement and Development (AWTAD) is an NGO committed to advancing Egyptian women and youth's professional and personal growth. We aim to empower them socially and economically.
Through a range of initiatives including training sessions, workshops, mentoring programs, and knowledge-sharing events, we aspire to cultivate a supportive network built on trust that facilitates the exchange of ideas and expertise.
We firmly believe that this network is crucial in providing women and youth with the support and motivation necessary to realize their business ambitions, thus promoting a culture of entrepreneurship within Egyptian society—an effort that AWTAD passionately supports and actively promotes.
We aim for Egyptian women and youth to reach their full potential, as we believe they are key agents for social, economic, and health development.
To empower and engage the community, as well as to mobilize the role of women and youth as key development agents, by effectively managing Egypt's human capital.
